Opp. Kamala Mills Entrance,

Inaugurated as recently as Dec. 12, 2007, it is already the most talked-about club and features cutting-edge live music from around the country and the world, a top-notch bar and a gastronomic experience like no other in Mumbai. The Blue Frog is the result of a partnership between a bunch of musicians (Ashutosh Phatak and Dhruv Ghanekar), film-makers (Mahesh Mathai and Srila Chatterjee), an ex-investment banker (Simran Mulchandani), restaurateurs (Rahul and Malini Akerkar) and an MBA, Rishad Nathani.
The focus is on live music; local bands perform here on weeknights, whereas weekends are reserved for international acts. The promoters feel that Mumbai’s music scene is lagging far behind for a global city, and Blue Frog is quickly changing all that. So no pop and Bollywood remixes here!

The design of the club, with its high ceilings, multi-level amphitheatre style seating, two large projection screens and mood lighting is far superior to any nightspot in Mumbai. The bar and grill also get full marks!
All in all, mind-blowing design, fantastic food and at last, a place to listen to some great live music in Mumbai.

Located at Colaba in Mumbai, Mahesh Lunch Home is widely regarded as a seafood haven! It is supposed to be the first Mangalorean restaurant in Mumbai and it has definitely contributed to popularizing Konkan cuisine in this part of the world.
Mahesh Lunch Home serves what may be Mumbai’s freshest and best seafood, carefully selected at the nearby Fort fish market every morning. There are many seafood delicacies on the Menu, but the favorites are the pomfret curry, tandoori pomfret, prawns Koliwada and the crab tandoori. You will also find a fantastic selection of fish curries or gassis, gassi being the thicker, spicier, coconut based version of the traditional Manglorean curry. The seafood dishes prepared with butter, garlic, and pepper are also popular.
Mahesh Lunch Home also serves Chicken, meats and Chinese food, but most people come here for the delicious seafood. The restaurant is also proud of its collection of foreign brands of Beer, Wine and Scotch.

Drunken Humor
A man in a bar has a couple of beers, and the bartender tells him he owes Two hundred rupees.
"But I paid, don't you remember?" says the customer.
"Okay," says the bartender, "If you said you paid, you did."
The man then goes outside and tells the first person he sees that the bartender can't keep track of whether his customers have paid.
The second man then rushes in, orders a beer and later pulls the same stunt.
The barkeep replies, "If you say you paid, I'll take your word for it."
Soon the customer goes into the street, sees an old friend, and tells him how to get free drinks.
The man hurries into the bar and begins to drink cocktails when, suddenly, the bartender leans over sand says, "You know, a funny thing happened in here tonight. Two men were drinking beer, neither paid and both claimed that they did. The next guy who tries that is going to get punched right in the nose."
"Don't bother me with your troubles," the final patron responds. "Just give me my change and I'll be on my way."

Trivia
The worst aftertaste in history
In 1805, British Admiral Horatio Nelson was killed during the Battle of Trafalgar off the coast of Spain. Most sailors were simply put to rest at sea, but as an admiral, Nelson had to be brought back to England for an official burial.
To preserve his body during the voyage home, the second-in-command stored Nelson's body in the ship's vat of rum and halted all liquor rations to the crew. Not a bad idea, but when the ship reached port, officials went to retrieve Nelson's body and found the vat dry.
Disregarding good taste (in every sense), the crew had been secretly drinking from it the entire way home. After that, naval rum was referred to as Nelson's Blood.
